ASB Updates 10/18/24 (Spirit Week, Fall Formal and More!!!)

Hello Bobcats!!

Here are a few ASB Updates for you as we are coming up on another busy season.

1. Fall Formal is on Saturday, November 2nd at the Carlsbad Flower Fields. Tickets are on sale now. Ticket Prices are: $60 with ASB Sticker and $75 without until 10/20/24; Ticket prices increase on MONDAY 10/21/24. Guests are $80 no matter the date of purchase. Included in your dance ticket: photo booth, access to the extra entertainment (video game station, caricature artist and other games), finger foods & drinks (sliders, mac and cheese bites and churros, unlimited beverages) and of course the DJ Dance area. The LAST DAY to submit Dance Agreements AND Guest Agreements is Friday, October 24, 2024. The LAST DAY to purchase tickets is November 1, 2024. Tickets can be purchased Tuesday-Thursday during lunch in the student store or on the webstore at this link. See the DANCES page on our website for more information.
2. Next week is our Pink Out Spirit Week and Red Ribbon Week. Monday is Pajama Day, Tuesday is Socks, Crocs and Birkenstocks Day, Wednesday is Opposites Attract so find a friend and dress as opposites, Thursday is Bikers vs Surfers Day and Friday is our Pink Out day!! There will be lunch activities throughout the week for Red Ribbon Week as well. Monday is a scavenger hunt, Tuesday is a wristband giveaway, Wednesday is Pledge and Popsicles, and Thursday is an obstacle course with impairment goggles. The week culminates with our first official Pep Rally of the school year on Friday after third period. 
3. Limited edition Pink Out shirts are still on sale in the student store for $15 Tuesday-Thursday at lunch. They are almost sold out so don't wait to purchase yours! 
4. On Wednesday, ASB will have a table set up in the Cut Out area of the Academic Mall for your last chance to add to our Breast Cancer Awareness Honor Wall. Students can pick up a Pink Ribbon and write the name of a person they'd like to honor to post on our Wall that will be displayed at our Pep Rally on Friday.
5. For those that wish to participate in our Halloween Costume Contest during lunch on 10/31 please remember that while costumes are allowed to be worn to school they have to follow our dress code policy. All costumes must adhere to the following: no fake weapons or accessories that look like weapons, no masks or full face paint, no mocking/discriminatory costumes.
6. If you can't make it to our student store we do have an online store available that you can check out in addition to our Site Run Webstore.
