DONATE BLOOD ON THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 7, 2024!

Appointments are available beginning at 8:30am and ending at 1:15pm. Walk ins are welcome but the wait could be long depending on how many appointments are scheduled during that time frame. 

Our Blood Drives are open to the public but you must check in at the front office first. ASB Students will escort you to the Bobcat Arena for your donation.

SAVE LIVES AND RAISE FUNDS!

ASB partners with LifeStream Blood Bank to save lives and raise funds while doing so. Below are some Statistics on the need for blood donations. 

  • Every 2 seconds someone needs blood.
  • 1 in every 7 hospital patients need blood.
  • A liver transplant recipient needs approximately 45 units of red blood cells, plasma and platelets.
  • Heart surgery patients may need 7 units red blood cells and platelets.
  • A marrow transplant recipient needs approximately 45 units of red blood cells and platelets.
  • Trauma victims can need up to 50 units of red blood cells, plasma and platelets.
  • Sickle Cell Anemia patients need 2-10 units of red blood cells per treatment. 

Your donation not only saves lives but Sage Creek High School ASB also receives $10 for every pint of blood that is donated. Those funds are then used to support the events and activities for Bobcat Nation. 

DONOR FAQ'S

  • Must be at least 15 years old to donate.
  • Must weigh at least 110 pounds to donate.
  • Must be in general good health to donate.
  • 15 and 16 year old donors must submit a donor consent form in order to donate.
