Sage Creek Drama Auditions for The Lightning Thief: Open to All Students!

Hello Sage Creek Families,

I am thrilled to share that we will begin rolling out a new phase of our Sage Creek Theatre program: Sage Creek Drama will transition to a new Theatre CTE pathway that helps students gain real-world experience while earning VAPA elective credit.

As part of this transition, we are very excited to offer an after-school course (Period 6) titled “Musical Theatre Production,” for students who participate in the Sage Creek Drama Winter Musical. This will be a trimester-long course held during the second trimester that is A-G approved, providing an opportunity for students to get VAPA graduation and A-G credit after the school day. Once auditions are complete, students will be enrolled in the course for trimester 2. This winter trimester, Sage Creek Drama will be producing The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical, a pop-rock adaptation of Rick Riordan’s bestselling novel. Audition information can be found here, and Round 1 audition videos are due by 10/29/26 at 5pm.

Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
