Important Attendance and Campus Updates for Students, Parents & Guardians

Posted Date: 08/28/26 (12:30 PM)

We are ending our first week of the 2026-2027 school year and are so happy our Bobcats are back on campus. We kindly ask that you partner with us by taking a few moments to read these important updates. Staying informed helps us all support our students and maintain the strong, vibrant community that makes Sage Creek High School so special.

Attendance:

Please visit our attendance page to learn more about Sage Creek attendance procedures. Here are updated attendance procedures to be aware of:

  • When requesting an early release or reporting an absence, please call the Attendance Hotline at 760-331-6670.

  • To support our learners and foster a focused learning environment, we do not interrupt classrooms with passes

  • Parents or guardians must give at least 3 hours' notice for all early releases. Students can pick up their passes before school, during brunch, during passing periods, or at lunch. Students may not leave class to pick up their passes. If three hours' prior notice is not possible, a parent or guardian must go to the Attendance Office in person and show ID to check the student out (this includes students who drive to/from school).

  • Only adults on the student’s emergency contact list may pick up a student from school.

Student Leaving Early due to Illness:

In the event your student becomes ill at school, please follow the procedures below:

  • During passing periods or at lunch, the student should go directly to the health office.

  • During class, the student should report the illness to the teacher and request to be sent to the health office. The health technician will then contact the parent/guardian.

Campus Safety:

As a reminder, Sage Creek High School is a closed campus, and all visitors must sign in with ID at the front desk in the Administration Building.

Classroom Deliveries:

To support focused learning, we do not interrupt classrooms to deliver items during instructional time. If you need to drop something off (like lunch or homework), please remind your student to check the office during brunch, lunch, or passing period. Thank you for helping us keep classrooms calm and distraction-free!
