Sage Creek Traffic Flow Email: Drop Off and Pick Up
Sage Creek Traffic Flow Email: Drop Off and Pick Up
Welcome BOBCATS! We are excited to see everyone tomorrow for the first day back to school! This email is full of information related to student drop-off and pick-up, as well as student parking. Please read in its entirety.
For those veteran drivers to our campus, both families and students, and those rookie drivers to Sage Creek, we wanted to provide you with information on both driving to Sage Creek, and drop-off and pick-up. A best practice for drivers is to arrive early to avoid traffic when dropping off your student.
New this year, we want our student drivers to be able to enter and leave campus safely, so we would like you to drive into the roundabout and bypass most traffic and park in the straight-away along the east side of visitor parking.
School starts promptly at 8:30am with the expectation that students are in class, in their seat, at 8:30am. Being that our school is at the end of a busy intersection with one-way traffic in and out, we wanted to provide you with the Traffic Flow Pattern and Protocol to be followed.
Campus Pick Up and Drop Off
Please refer to our SCHS Drop Off / Pick Up Diagram and plan accordingly.

Some Non-Negotiables:
(1) Students are not allowed to be dropped off or picked up along Bobcat Boulevard as this creates an extreme safety risk. No parking signs are located along the entirety of Bobcat Boulevard.
(2) There are two acceptable drop-off and pick-up areas for Sage Creek High School: the circle roundabout and Drop Off Area #2 in the lower lot. Please see the arrow signs below.
(3) There is NO student parking in the visitor lot adjacent to the circle roundabout.
(4) There is NO drop-off or pick-up in the visitor lot adjacent to the circle roundabout or in the staff lot on the far southeast corner of campus.
(5) IF you are dropping off or picking up in the roundabout Area #1, please pull all the way around.
Best Practices:
(1) We recommend arriving early to avoid traffic.
(2) Follow the rules of the road and all traffic signs
(3) Our Campus Supervisor team is present to keep us safe. We value their service so please treat them with the utmost respect.
(4) Please be patient, calm, and remember that we are all here to support one another.
As we start the year, we can not stress enough the need for all in our community to practice patience, kindness, and respect, especially as we transition from summer driving to the start of school driving. Please be kind and respectful to our staff who are out to help in the morning and after school.
Let's have a great year. Go Bobcats!!
