Professional Theatre and Stage Technology
Sage Creek Drama is an inclusive community that welcomes performers and technicians of all experience levels. Our program offers a comprehensive curriculum, featuring courses such as Theatre 1, Theatre 2, Advanced Theatre (Theatre 3), and Production Technology. Students participate in a wide range of performances throughout the year, from showcases and festivals to outreach programs for local elementary and middle schools, culminating in three major mainstage productions each season.
In our energetic environment, students develop strong leadership and collaboration skills both onstage and behind the scenes. Opportunities abound for student directors, choreographers, stage managers, and lighting and sound designers to take the lead and bring their creative visions to life. Many of our Technical Theatre alumni have gone on to work professionally behind the scenes at productions across San Diego and often return to share their expertise with current students.
