The Sage's success at STN wouldn’t have been possible without the Carlsbad Educational Foundation. This year, a generous grant from CEF allowed us to purchase two brand-new, state-of-the-art Macbook editing laptops, which we received just in time for the convention! Students used these new machines in the editing room of some high-stakes competitions. Students are able to utilize editing software programs Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Adobe After Effects to make The Sage's award-winning publications possible. Last year, grants awarded by CEF enabled us to purchase six Canon R10 Cameras and three Dell editing laptops as well.
