The 2026 MiraCosta Encuentros y Barrio Empowerment Annual Conference is coming up and registration is NOW OPEN!!  
Students in attendance will gain valuable, hands‑on opportunity to explore multiple career fields through interactive workshops and a dynamic Career Expo, helping them connect their interests to real‑world pathways and future possibilities.
The conference is open to students in grades 6–12, non‑traditional students, and parents and families. Attendance is limited to 500 participants, and early registration is encouraged.  Please know that this conference is primarily designed for Latinx middle and high school students and their families, though all are welcome!
The event will also feature a dedicated parent track designed to provide meaningful and engaging experiences. Our Parent Keynote Speaker, Dr. Beatriz Villarreal, is a nationally recognized educator and advocate whose work has empowered students and families through community leadership and educational equity.
