MiraCosta College Summer Registration Begins May 12th!

Greetings Bobcats,


As we approach the end of the year, many of you may be thinking about summer school. If you are planning to take a class at MiraCosta College this summer, please ensure you are prepared prior to the registration date on May 12th. MiraCosta College requires multiple steps to enroll, some of which take a couple of days to process. Be sure to double-check the following to ensure a smooth enrollment process:


  • Applying to MiraCosta College. You must have an active SURF ID in order to register for classes. If you have not taken a MiraCosta class in the past year (two semesters), you must reapply to reactivate your SURF ID. You can find the application here.

  • Completing the Early College Credit Form (e-sign). MiraCosta recommends the e-Sign version, but you may also use the Print and Sign version. Please see each respective link for directions on how to submit.

  • Check your Tasks and To-Do List in SURF. Students typically must complete a pre-registration survey prior to enrolling. Be sure to complete the survey before the registration date/time, as it will cause a Hold on your account.

  • Lastly, students must enroll themselves by logging into SURF and selecting their desired classes. 


Please remember to submit Proof of Enrollment to the SCHS counseling department after you register for your classes. Counselors can then adjust your course selections for next year accordingly.
