IMPORTANT: Prom Details

Hello everybody,

We are 3 days away from Prom!! I am so excited to see all of our Prom attendees this weekend! 

Venue: Parq Night Club, 615 Broadway, San Diego, CA 92101
Event Time: 6pm-10pm

I wanted to answer some FAQs...

1. As stated in the agreement all students must arrive by 8pm and may not leave sooner than 9pm. Prompt pickup is required.
2. Padres are away this weekend so we won't have to compete with the congestion and parking competition that comes with a homestand. 
3. Parking is not free and was not included in the ticket price. The price will range from $10-$30 for the duration of prom. Here are the closest lots to the venue:
   • 910 Sixth Ave, San Diego, CA 92101 (directly across the street from venue)
   • 870 Sixth Ave, San Diego, CA 92101
   • Seventh Ave & F St, San Diego, CA 92101
   • 936 Seventh Ave, San Diego, CA 92101
   • 725 Broadway, San Diego, CA 92101
   • 707 Broadway, San Diego, CA 92101

4. There WILL be a bag/coat check at Prom, it will be one time in and one time out meaning you will not be permitted to come back and forth with items to be checked so please be mindful of this. 
5. Bags and backpacks are not allowed, except for single compartment bags measuring 7” × 10” or smaller. Your bag may be subject to search when you enter. Medical bags, small purses, clutches and fanny packs are allowed as long as they are smaller than 7 inches by 10 inches in size.
6. As is our common practice, all students will be breathalyzed upon entry.
7. There will be NO TICKET SALES at the door.
8. There is no physical ticket. Students need to have their Student IDs/Minga Digital IDs (or another form of photo id) in order to check in.
