Join Mariachi Club!

Hello Bobcats!

Are you passionate about Mariachi? Or curious to learn more about the rich musical tradition? The Carlsbad Unified String Collective, led by CHS teacher Mx. Allen-Benes and Sage Creek HS teacher Ms. Quiñones, is starting an after school mariachi club this year. 

The club will meet once a week and rotate between the two high school sites. Club activities will include learning/singing mariachi songs, exploring the different instruments used, and celebrating the cultural and historical  background of mariachi. 

The first club meeting will take place September 15th from 4-5:30 PM at Sage Creek, room 5003. Those interested in learning more should scan the QR code on the information flyer or visit our WEBSITE, or speak directly to Ms. Quiñones directly here at Sage Creek at brunch or after school (room 5003).
