The Sage Multimedia Journalism Receives New Laptops

This year, the Sage Multimedia Journalism received a generous grant from the Carlsbad Educational Foundation that allowed the program to purchase three powerful Dell laptops and miscellaneous accessories. Students are able to utilize editing software programs Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects to make The Sage's weekly broadcast shows possible. These much-needed laptops are replacing the older hardware that Sage students had been using since the program’s conception in 2016. 

In March, Sage Creek won first place in the STN Crazy 8s Morning Show contest with these laptops in tow in Tampa, Florida. The new laptops will help sustain The Sage program and support student journalism for years to come.
