2025-26 SCHS Registration Information - PLEASE READ

Dear Parents and Students,

The staff at Sage Creek High School welcomes you back to school! We look forward to helping you make this a successful school year. All returning CUSD students and “Pre-enrolled Students (i.e., new to CUSD but already enrolled)” MUST attend registration day during their assigned time to complete registration for the 2025-2026 school year. Friends or neighbors cannot complete registration for you. 

2025-26 Registration Dates:
  • By Sunday, August 10th - Online data confirmation must be completed in the Aeries Parent Portal (please note new proof of residency document requirements)
  • Monday, August 11 - 9th Grade - 8am - 12pm
  • Tuesday, August 12 - 10th Grade - 8am - 12pm
  • Wednesday, August 13 - 11th Grade - 8am - 12pm
  • Thursday, August 14 - 12th Grade - 10am - 1pm

Registration includes digital student ID cards, yearbook pictures, textbooks, Chromebooks, and more. Parents are not required to escort students through the registration process. If your student is unable to make the registration day for their grade level, please plan on attending the Registration Makeup Day on Monday, Aug 18th, 10am-12pm.

PLEASE NOTE: At registration, students will receive a list of classes scheduled for this year so they can pick up their textbooks. The Trimester 1 class schedules with class periods, teachers, and classrooms will be available in Aeries on Monday, August 18th.

AERIES Parent PortalTo register at Sage Creek High School, you must complete the online data confirmation in the parent portal by Sunday, August 10th.

Data Confirmation - please note the following changes in the documents needed for proof of residency:

Proof of residency: You will be required to provide two documents (one from each category below) to verify your residency. Evidence of residency may be established by documentation showing the name and address of the parent/guardian within the district, including, but not limited to, any of the following: (Education Code 48204.1). The mailing and service/residence addresses must match. P.O. Box not accepted.


Category One (current document and/or dated within the last 30 days, as appropriate):

  • Mortgage Statement or payment receipts

  • Property tax payment receipt

  • Escrow Papers

  • Rental property contract, lease, or payment receipts

    • Current rental/lease agreement with management/landlord contact information and signatures of landlord and tenant/parent. *If the lease has expired and is now month-to-month, an original letter on company letterhead from management/landlord indicating parents/guardians are current residents is required. 

Category Two (must be dated within the last 30 days):

  • Utility service contract, statements, or payment receipts

  • Pay stub

  • Voter registration

  • Correspondence from a government agency

Address Change: If you have moved, your address must be changed by a school official, and you will be required to provide two forms of residency verification (see CUSD WEBSITE for additional residency information). Please contact Hannah Yen (hannah.yen@carlsbadusd.net) regarding your change of address. 


2025-26 Registration Map
ASB Information:  Registration Packages will be available for all grade levels for extra savings. Mrs. Tapia will send a ParentSquare email with more information in the coming days. The ASB Webstore will be live on August 11th for online purchases. Any items purchased on the webstore can be picked up during registration or in the student store during the first week of school.
