ATHLETIC CLEARANCE FOR THE 24-25 SCHOOL YEAR 

Athletic clearance for the 24-25 school year will open on May 13, 2024.  Athletic clearance is required each year, even for returning athletes.  All athletic clearance paperwork must be submitted for a student-athlete to receive a Ticket 2 Play.  A Ticket 2 Play is required to attend tryouts.  Athletes will not be permitted to attend tryouts and or practices until they have been cleared by the athletic department.   

***Incoming 9th grade athletes will need to pick up a Ticket 2 Play, dates and times TBD.  The minga app will not be available to incoming students until after registration. 

To start the athletic clearance process log onto Home Campus.  Select the 2024-2025 school year, and Sage Creek High School.  Once your clearance has been reviewed by the athletic department you will receive a confirmation email.

Forms do NOT need to be turned into the athletic office to complete the clearance process.  All forms MUST be uploaded directly to the clearance site for review. Students must keep all original forms for their records. 

Athletic Clearance Due Dates for the 2024-2025 School Year:

Fall Sports: June 7, 2024

Winter Sports:  October 4, 2023

Spring Sports: January 17, 2025  

Forms Required for the 2024-2025 School Year:

 

  • CIF Physical Form (signed, stamped, and dated by a MD, DO, PA, NP)

    • Physicals are valid for 1 calendar year and must be valid through the entire season of play to be accepted.

  • Proof of Medical Insurance

ATHLETIC PE CREDIT

If you are in 10th - 12th grade and want to earn PE credit for playing a CIF sport you need to complete the Athletic PE Contract and upload it to the Athletic PE Application by the following due dates to earn credit.  Links to contract and application are above. Signatures from site administrators and athletic director are NOT required for submission.  They will be reviewed and signed after submission. 

23-24 Due Dates:                 

Fall: Sept. 15, 2023
Winter: December 8, 2023
Spring: March 29, 2024

Credit is not guaranteed for contracts submitted  AFTER the due date.

For late submissions  contact Mrs. Williams to ensure that the application has been received and approved.

 

NEW TO SAGE CREEK?

If you plan to attend Sage Creek in the 2023-2024 school year and are interested in playing sports please be sure to make an appointment to meet with the Athletic Director.  Any student new to Sage Creek after the first day of their freshman year must meet with the Athletic Director to complete the required Transfer Eligibility paperwork.  CIF and North County Conference rules will be adhered to in all transfer cases.

**If  you are an incoming 9th grade student and have never attended another high school this does not apply to you.

Sage Creek offers 20 CIF sports programs.  Many of our programs offer several levels, varsity, JV, and Novice/Frosh.  Programs are listed above by season of play.  The numbers indicate levels typically offered.  Levels are based on the number of participants and subject to change.

Ticket 2 Play

 

A Ticket 2 Play is required for tryouts.  All student-athletes that plan to tryout MUST complete the athletic clearance process to be eligible to participate.  Tickets are distributed digitally through MINGA.  Students will be able to access their ticket through their student ID on the app.  

New students will not have access to MINGA until registration.  Students planning to try out for a fall sport should plan to pick up a ticket in the athletic office on Friday, Aug. 4 between 12:00 and 2:00pm.  Contact the athletic director if you have questions about this process.

 

 

Go Fan

All athletic ticket sales are handled through GoFan.  We do not be accept cash sales or sell tickets at the door for athletic events.

Tickets are required for all levels of indoor volleyball, basketball, and wrestling.

Bobcat Fan Pass

Fans can also purchase a Bobcat Fan Pass for access to all regular season home games.  Bobcat Fan Passes are available for purchase through the webstore.

Students get into regular season home games if they have an ASB sticker.  ASB Stickers can also be purchased through the webstore.
